Biographical history
El Instituto Nacional de la Juventud (Injuv) es un organismo público chileno, funcionalmente descentralizado, con personalidad jurídica y patrimonio propio, que se relaciona con el Presidente de la República a través del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social. Fue creado el 16 de febrero de 1991 por la Ley 19042, firmada por el presidente Patricio Aylwin, y reemplazó a la Secretaría Nacional de la Juventud, creada por la dictadura militar en 1973
